Hayden Park is a Lecturer in the Bachelor of Education with 13 years of teaching experience. This spans across a diverse range of roles and contexts including primary, secondary, and tertiary settings. Hayden completed his PhD at RMIT, focusing on the use of virtual reality classrooms to assist pre-service teachers with learning how to support behaviour.
Passionate about innovative pedagogies and technology, Hayden continually seeks to improve teaching, learning, and student engagement in both his classrooms and his students. His commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology in education is evident in his research and teaching practices. He holds a Masters of Teaching from the University of Melbourne, where he conducted a research thesis on behaviour management training for pre-service teachers.
In his current role, Hayden coordinates the professional practice subjects. This is where his extensive background in behaviour support/classroom management is put to task. He is also responsible for coordinating the science and STEM related suite of subjects. His research focus is currently on using generative artificial intelligence for improving teaching and learning.
