Mohammad Khan

Dr Mohammad is a Lecturer of the Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) program. He has 15 years of teaching, research and industry experiences in the field of Civil Engineering.

Dr Mohammad received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS), and PhD in Civil Engineering from University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia.

Dr Mohammad has hands-on experience in face to face, blended and online teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels using state-of-the-art technology for effective curriculum delivery. His teaching approach is to create an active learning environment where students are engaged with materials and actively participate in the process of learning.

Dr Mohammad is actively involved in research and has worked on several government funded projects. His research mostly focuses on developing next generations green concrete by utilising industrial by-products. He has published 23 high-quality journals, 2 Book Chapters and 6 conference papers. His research has been cited more than 1,300 times.
